Miley Cyrus Hit the Big Chart this Week



Although Flo Rida's "Right Round" retains the top slot on the Billboard Hot 100 for four consecutive weeks, Miley Cyrus hit the big chart news this week as her single "The Climb" crashes in at No.6 in its debut week.

The Climb is the brand new hit single from Miley Cyrus available on Hannah Montana: The Movie Soundtrack in stores March 24! is the highest-charting effort of Miley Cyrus surpassing the No.9 peak of "7 Things" from July 2008. Hannah Montana: The Movie only in Theaters April 10.
Miley Cyrus got the best single-week sales sum from the song's with 166,000 digital downloads. "The Climb" debuts at No. 3 on the Hot Digital Songs chart.
There are 13 new debuts on the Hot 100 this week with two re-entries. Aside from Miley Cyrus grand entrance, there are other notable new arrivals including LMFAO's "I'm In Miami Trick" at No. 73, U2's "Magnificent" at No. 79, The-Dream featuring Mariah Carey's "My Love" at No. 82, MGMT's "Kids" at No. 91, the White Tie Affair's "Candle (Sick and Tired)" at No. 93 and Lady GaGa's "Lovegame" at No. 96. Taylor Swift's "You're Not Sorry" re-enters at No. 67 thanks to renewed interest in the song after it was released in a special "CSI Mix".
