"Part of the List" the fourth single from Ne-Yo's platinum "Year of the Gentleman" album a sentimental slice of acoustic-based R&B. His sound stretches with a bit of some nice musical flourishes: acoustic guitar strumming and signature tight background harmonies that lead to a grandiose, sweeping arrangement by song's end.
Ne-Yo's laments some of the more quaint traits of a lost love. This is a classy slice of pop/R&B that scoured well with his growing audience.
